"Exhilaratingly Fun!"

“Highly recommended. One of my all-time favorite adventure-travel thrillers. Xpedition is composed fast-moving vignettes – that takes readers on a joyous ride – and the italicized prose writing style is very clever. This work is destined to become a global best-seller – and hopefully a major motion picture. I laughed so hard my stomach still hurts.”

"A Wonderful Adventure!"

“Danny Fitz’s Expedition: A Sailing and Cycling Shocker describes an excellent adventure in turning a dream into a reality. The fantasy of cutting loose and setting sail in a tropical paradise with a delightful like-minded companion and wrapping up the experience by cycling through some of the most beautiful countryside in Europe is the sort of thing that many – if not most – of us don’t quite get around to, and later wish that we had. Danny and Sam – First Mate – demonstrate that the combination of ingenuity, resourcefulness, determination, flexibility and humor is an excellent set of attributes for such an undertaking. Moreover, the courage to take off when young enough and strong enough to fully absorb rich experiences suggests a type of wisdom that typically emerges only later in life.

Although consisting primarily of wonderful and exhilarating episodes, the journey occasionally involved challenging environmental conditions, significant mechanical issues and interpersonal situations that tested their resilience and resourcefulness. Dan and Sam met the challenges head-on and achieved their objectives. A wonderful adventure!”

"A Whirlwind Journey Across Oceans and Continents"

“I have been on adventures similar in many ways to the travels described in this book – both sailing and biking, and Mr Fitz’s descriptions of places I’ve been brought back a lot of memories. Through the entire book there is the wonder of seat-of-your-pants traveling (my favorite type) – again, bringing back my own memories. I’m just glad I never had to experience the “shocked” part myself (but no spoilers from me!)I have been on adventures similar in many ways to the travels described in this book – both sailing and biking, and Mr Fitz’s descriptions of places I’ve been brought back a lot of memories. "Awesome book. Great Adventures!"

“The book is about 1 year of amazing adventures. The first half of the book is an incredible journey on a 26 foot sailboat from San Diego to Cabo, Mazatlan and up the sea of Cortez. Very thrilling. Then the couple switches to a tandem bike ride thru Europe. Exciting, fun and enjoyable read. Something we could all aspire to.”

"I'm a Danny Fitz Fan!"

“Excellent writer with an extensive vocabulary. The multiple stories were exciting to read about. The dangerous situations on the boat and on the bike kept me captivated and engaged in the book. I still can’t believe they found a tandem bike part in a tiny bike shop in Italy.”
